I grew up in Prescott, Arizona and moved to Las Vegas to attend UNLV, where I got my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. I made a home in Las Vegas for 11 years, and that is where I met my husband and gave birth to my daughter.

My birth story is a beautiful source of empowerment for me. I gave birth at home, attended by a midwife and a doula, in a birthing tub. The experience was intense but also incredibly peaceful. My husband caught her as she was born and placed her directly on my chest. I remember feeling like I could do anything in that moment, and I was so overwhelmed with gratitude and love.

The birth of my daughter inspired me to become a doula. I want all birthing people to look back on their birth story and feel as empowered, grateful, beautiful, and in love as I felt. I believe your ideal birth story is achievable, and helping you to find your power in birth is a great joy for me.

That is why I do this work, and that is why I love this work.
